Based right here in Vancouver, we've spent years figuring out how to make buildings that don't just look good but actually work with the environment instead of against it. Started this practice because we got tired of seeing cookie-cutter designs that ignore what nature's been trying to tell us all along.
Whether it's a family home in Kitsilano or a commercial space downtown, we approach every project with the same mindset - how can we make this better for the people using it AND the planet we're all sharing?
Six core services, but honestly, every project's a bit different. That's what keeps things interesting.
Your home should reflect how you actually live, not some magazine spread. We design spaces that grow with families and adapt to real life.
Offices and retail spaces that people don't dread walking into. We've seen what bad lighting and poor flow can do to productivity.
This isn't just about slapping some solar panels on the roof. We're talking passive heating, natural ventilation, materials that actually make sense.
The inside matters just as much. We've learned that good space planning can completely change how a building feels and functions.
Vancouver's got some beautiful old buildings. We work to keep their character alive while making them work for modern needs.
Sometimes you need someone who understands how individual buildings fit into the bigger picture of a neighborhood or district.
This one was a challenge - steep slope, tricky soil conditions, and clients who wanted maximum views without losing privacy. Ended up designing a three-level cascading structure that works with the topography instead of fighting it.
The whole thing's powered mostly by geothermal, and we integrated a rainwater collection system that the clients use for their garden. They joke that their utility bills are lower than their old condo.

We've seen too many buildings that look like they were dropped from outer space with no regard for what's around them. Every site tells a story - the light, the wind patterns, the neighborhood character. Our job's to listen to that story and design something that actually belongs there.
The best sustainable design doesn't announce itself. You shouldn't have to sacrifice aesthetics or comfort to be responsible. We've spent years figuring out how to integrate green tech so seamlessly that you forget it's even there - until you see your energy bills, that is.
Life changes. Kids grow up, businesses evolve, needs shift. We design spaces that can adapt without needing major renovations. It's about thinking five, ten, twenty years down the road and building in options from the start.
